This weekend, on November 3rd and 4th, the Autry Museum will be hosting their annual American Indian Arts Marketplace, one of the largest in Southern California!
The American Indian Arts Marketplace is home to “more than 180 Native American artists” who will share their work. “Featuring the finest in contemporary and traditional American Indian arts, the festival includes more than 25,000 square feet of exhibition space, artist demonstrations, music, dance, and food. Weekend events will include seminars for collectors and main stage entertainment for the whole family.”
We will be there on the 3rd and the 4th as one of the groups invited to perform. We will be bringing our Bear Clan Drummers and the Humaya Dancers to the Autry and performing at 2:00 pm in the afternoon. We used to dance there every year, except for the past three years, and we are excited to be invited back. We hope to see everyone there!
