Pipeline Graduation

On Saturday, August 11th, Pitzer’s Native American Summer Pipeline to College had its graduation at Benson Auditorium, Pitzer College. The Pipeline Program is a college prep program specifically for Native students. 21 Native students from around the country graduated that day.

The Ohlone were invited to start the Graduation Ceremony with drumming and the Humaya Dancers. Afterwards, Chief Cerda was invited to come up to the stage to impart a few words of wisdom to the young Native students.
